L'Oréal Canada has created a new leadership role, as part of its mission to transition to a more responsible and sustainable business model. The French beauty giant's Canadian arm named Maya Colombani as Chief Sustainability & Human Rights Officer.Feelunique's co-founder Aaron Chatterley steps away from the business after 17 years, as Sephora takes over the business after acquiring the beauty retailer for £132 million in September 2021.Beautycounter continues to lead the clean beauty movement announcing Kara Trousdale has joined the team as its new Chief Commercial Officer. Kara joins Beautycounter after a nearly eight-year tenure at Amazon where she served as Chief Marketing Officer. Kara brings the insights and learnings from her time at Amazon to Beautycounter to scale the business and oversee the brand's evolving omnichannel model.Augustinus Bader has a new partnership with beauty, wellness, lifestyle entrepreneur, and longtime brand advocate Bobbi Brown. As Chief Creative Advisor, Brown will continue her personal and professional support for Augustinus Bader by working in close collaboration on creative and product ideation, educational programs, promotional activations, marquee events, and more.Walgreens Boots Alliance named Heather Hughes as Group Vice President of Beauty and Personal Care and Seasonal. Hughes succeeds Lauren Brindley, who announced a personal decision to leave Walgreens for an external opportunity.
